Duties: Area of focus will be inspecting work performed by construction contractors to ensure conformance with contract plans and specification, contract administration, reporting daily progress, tracking and documenting quantities of work performed, resolving construction problems and challenges in the field and other oversight responsibilities as assigned. Candidates shall have knowledge of construction means and methods, materials, strong communication skills, documentation control, ability to read and interpret plans and specifications and to perform quantity takeoffs/calculations.

Experience and Qualifications: Experience in inspecting, testing, or managing construction projects is a must. Candidates must be fully proficient in the use of computers including MS Word, Excel and construction reporting/quantity tracking software. Must have effective written and oral communication skills, be eager to learn, willing to perform a variety of tasks and be a team player.

A minimum of three years of experience in civil, highway, facility or a relevant engineering field is required, with one year in a field inspection capacity.

Any of the following Professional certifications are strongly preferred: NICET; NETTCP; ACI; NACE; AWS/CWI; ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor; EIT; CCM; CMIT; CACM. Bachelor of Science Degree (BS) or Associates Degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Employees assigned to driving duties ("drivers") must have a current, valid US State driver's license and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with Keville's driving policy. OSHA 10 certification is a condition of employment.
