Job description


  • Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in covering roofs with roofing materials.
  • Schedule work and assign duties to technicians and subcontractors utilizing bolt scheduling system.
  • Demonstrate techniques of applying various types of roofing materials
  • Inspect work in progress daily.
  • Inspect all jobs completed prior to releasing payment
  • Coordinate daily safety inspections on all job sites.
  • Communicate daily with scheduling coordinator and Austin Area Manager
  • Communicate daily with new home construction superintendents.
  • Coordinate warranty inspections and determine areas needing repairs
  • Manage multiple communities and perform daily prelims on various job sites.
  • To help oversee all metal roof installations in Austin and assist in measuring and ordering material when needed.

You’re probably a match if you have:

  • Proven experience as Field Supervisor or Project Manager
  • Experience in customer service will be appreciated
  • Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes and projects
  • Outstanding organizational and managerial abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual (Spanish & English)
  • 3 years in construction/roofing
  • 2 years in management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong work ethic
