Delivering since 2020, CMC Ready-Mix is the sister company of CMC Rock, which has been producing construction aggregates in Utah since 2006. What started with 10 mixer trucks has grown to a fleet of over 50 in just four years.

CMC Ready-Mix is currently hiring qualified CDL Ready-Mix Drivers for our Saratoga Springs (Pelican Point), Payson, and Heber batch plant locations. While mixer experience is preferred, we encourage all CDL holders to apply.

The Concrete Mixer Driver is responsible for safely operating a mixer truck to deliver ready-mix concrete to construction sites. This role ensures timely deliveries, proper handling of materials, and excellent customer service while maintaining compliance with all safety regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

- Operate a concrete mixer truck to transport ready-mix concrete to job sites

- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle

- Safely load, transport, and unload concrete according to job specifications

- Maintain proper slump and mix consistency during transport

- Communicating with dispatches, plant personnel, and customers is a professional manner

- Clean and maintain the mixer truck after deliveries

- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies as well as maintaining medical DOT card and valid CDL

- Keep accurate delivery notes on tickets with signatures

- Report on mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly through a DVIR

Requirements

- Valid CDL (Class A or B)

- Insurable Driving Record

- Ability to pass drug screening and background check

- Concrete mixer driving experience preferred, but not required

- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance

- Ability to work and drive in various weather conditions


Physical Requirements:

- Ability to climb ladders and access truck equipment

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs 

- Ability to sit for extended periods while driving 


Working Conditions:

- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions 

- Early morning starts, late nights, occasional weekends or overtime
