CLW provides day-hab and vocational services to adults with developmental disabilities in a day program setting. CLW Direct Support Professionals - DSPs do not work weekends and are not on call! You will never be forced to work over! Position may require, at times, for services to be provided in the residential setting.
We are looking for highly motivated Direct Support Professionals - DSPs for full-time, day shift positions (M-F) at our Geneva, Ohiolocation to assist individuals with developmental disabilities, focusing on quality care and daily activities, day-hab and vocational services. As a Direct Support Professional - DSP you will be responsible for working with a team to ensure the health & safety of our developmentally disabled clients. Make a difference in their lives every day!
Requirements for a Direct Support Professional - DSP:
  • Prior experience working with individuals w/ developmental disabilities is preferred, but not required. We will train you! All you really need is a compassionate heart and the willingness to learn.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug test
  • Must be able to pass criminal background requirements
  • May be required to attend applicable medication administration courses, if requirements are met, to become certified to administer medications and complete health related activities based upon site and participant assignment needs at the direction of the delegating nurse.
