Requirements
  • 16+ years of age
  • Enjoy working with children and able to facilitate age-appropriate games
  • Friendly, enthusiastic, patient, and honest character
  • First Aid, AED & Adult/Child/Infant CPR Certified or willing to obtain certifications within 60 days of employment
  • Physically fit able to lift up to 30 lbs., run, sit, kneel, and stand for the duration of a shift
  • Mentally alert able to recognize safety concerns and have a basic understanding of youth development and childrens needs
Basic Job Duties
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging environment for children
  • Become familiar with Genesis Employee and Kids Club Policies
  • Professionally communicate with parents/guardians regarding their children
  • Attend monthly training and team building meetings
  • Provide friendly customer service to our members
  • Report facility concerns to the supervisor promptly
  • Record daily Kids Club usage
  • Respectful and courteous interaction with our members and Genesis employees
  • Keep Genesis Kids Club center clean and picked up at all times and equipment sanitized
  • Facilitate age-appropriate games and activities to engage with children in our care at all times
