Our club is the place to be in Laredo with a warm friendly atmosphere for our family of members and staff."Club Vision"Our Family's Second Home"Employee Mission"To empower our family of employees through fostering a positive environment, we will provide the most vibrant atmosphere with quality amenities as the premier country club in South Texas, while enhancing the club experience by always striving for excellent service."Position SummaryThe Cook III is an entry-level culinary position designed for individuals beginning their professional cooking career. This role supports the culinary team in daily production, preparation, organization, and sanitation while developing foundational cooking skills under the guidance of senior cooks and chefs.Essential ResponsibilitiesAssist with the preparation of basic menu items, sauces, vegetables, proteins, and side dishes. Follow standardized recipes and production sheets accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and storage areas. Support daily service preparation and plate dishes according to established standards. Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing deliveries. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures. Learn cooking techniques and kitchen procedures through hands-on training. QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred. Culinary education is a plus but not required. Previous kitchen experience preferred but not necessary. Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
