Your Role in Keeping the Future in Safe Hands...
We are seeking a motivated and technically curious Cloud Operations Intern to support our growing Cloud Operations team within the Engineering organization. This internship is designed for a junior or senior-level college student interested in cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, systems monitoring, and cloud operations.
This role will provide hands-on exposure to AWS environments, cloud security practices, operational monitoring, and infrastructure support initiatives. The intern will work closely with the Cloud Operations Lead and Engineering leadership to help identify operational gaps, strengthen security posture, and support ongoing cloud optimization efforts.
Key Responsibilities in your role...
  • Assist with monitoring and supporting AWS cloud environments
  • Help identify and remediate cloud security gaps, vulnerabilities, and exposure risks
  • Support operational health checks, alert monitoring, and system performance reviews
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining cloud security protocols and best practices
  • Support documentation of cloud infrastructure, operational processes, and security controls
  • Participate in troubleshooting cloud-related issues and supporting remediation activities
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams on operational improvement initiatives and targeted KPIs
  • Research and recommend improvements related to cloud operations, automation, and security posture

Preferred Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Junior or Senior standing preferred
  • Exposure to or coursework involving AWS or cloud technologies
  • Familiarity with one or more of the following:
    • Python
    • Java
    • C++
    • SQL
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter with a high level of curiosity and willingness to learn quickly
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Interest in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, cybersecurity, or systems engineering

Preferred Experience
  • Exposure to AWS services and cloud computing concepts
  • Basic understanding of networking, security principles, and system administration
  • Experience with scripting, automation, or monitoring tools is a plus
