Cloud Engineer:

Direct Client Infrastructure Team is seeking a Cloud Engineer - Expert that will support the ongoing DMV Cloud infrastructure build.
The primary focus is to help Direct Client understand the architecture and be a bridge between Direct Client and the vendors with their knowledge of Cloud infrastructure networking, storage and security.
The complexity of these responsibilities are essential to Direct Client to support the building of the Azure tenant from scratch so that DMV systems can be placed in the cloud. Direct Client and DMV have an aggressive schedule to get this done to support the DMV modernization efforts.
Role/Responsibilities:
  • responsible for designing and developing software solutions for cloud-based operating systems
  • builds and maintains infrastructure as code (IaC) using DevOps methodology and versioning with a descriptive model to define and deploy infrastructure, such as networks, virtual machines, load balancers, and connection topologies.
  • providing a reliable and scalable platform for developers to build and deploy applications
  • responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the cloud network infrastructure including the deployment and configuration of cloud-based network solutions to ensure high performance, reliability, and security
