Position Summary:
The Corporate Executive Protection Officer is a vital member of the Safety, Security, and Environment Team, responsible for safeguarding the Executive Committee during domestic and international travel, corporate events, and private engagements. This role involves conducting thorough risk assessments, developing tailored protection plans, and executing close protection duties with discretion and professionalism. Operating across the globe, the officer must be culturally sensitive, adaptable to regional laws and customs, and able to coordinate effectively with local security agencies and service providers. The ideal candidate is highly certified, physically fit, proficient in security technology, and capable of responding swiftly to emerging threats while maintaining confidentiality and upholding the company's standards for safety and discretion. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide discreet, high-level close protection for executives during travel, meetings, and public appearances.
  • Conduct detailed pre-travel and venue security assessments tailored to regional risks, customs, and regulations.
  • Coordinate with event planners and security personnel and provide detailed event-related information to executives. Manage events, including security, safety, logistics, and vetting of guest lists.
  • Execute security clearance of venues, assess threats, and establish secure routes for meetings, events, and conferences.
  • Oversee secure transportation, including vetted drivers and armored vehicles as required.
  • Maintain real-time situational awareness using intelligence sources, surveillance tools, and local contacts.
  • Develop and execute emergency response strategies for medical emergencies, security breaches, and evacuation procedures.
  • Ensure strict confidentiality regarding client movements and sensitive information.
  • Collaborate closely with internal security teams, local law enforcement, and event coordinators.
  • Document all security activities, incidents, and threat assessments for review and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Certifications
Experience:
  • Minimum of 5-8 years in executive protection or high-profile private security roles within multinational environments.
  • Experience in executive protection within multinational corporations.
  • Valid firearm license in accordance with regional requirements (CCW).
  • Specialized Training: Courses in personal protection, self-defense, threat assessment, and emergency response.

Certifications:
  • Authorization to work in the United States - required.
  • Certified Protection Professional (CPP) from ASIS International or equivalent.
  • Executive Protection Certification (e.g., from ASIS or certified security providers).
  • Completion of a handgun certification course and a high level of firearms proficiency (from ASIS International or equivalent).
  • Protective Driving Certification (defensive/advanced driving).
  • First Aid & CPR (preferably AED certification).
  • Regional-specific licenses or permits (e.g., firearm permits, security clearance).
  • Additional security or threat detection training is a plus.
