Job description

This position is a part-time role working 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

The primary responsibility is coordinating provider scheduling for a large, multi-specialty provider group that delivers care across multiple campuses. Duties include developing and maintaining monthly provider schedules, managing daily schedule adjustments, and responding to last-minute coverage requests to ensure seamless clinical operations. Experience with QGenda scheduling software is preferred. The remaining portion of the role will focus on analytics and reporting, including data analysis, operational metrics, provider productivity reporting, and other analytical projects that support departmental planning and decision-making.

• Conduct advanced data analyses to optimize physician workflows, utilizing EHR data to enhance clinical efficiency and patient outcomes.
• Develop methodologies and define data requirements for physician specific analytical projects to support strategic clinical decisions.
• Maintain expertise in physician-related data sources, such as Epic or Cerner, to deliver accurate and actionable analytical insights.
• Design and refine analysis templates to diagnose inefficiencies and identify opportunities in physician practice operations.
• Execute specialized reports for physician performance metrics, ensuring results are clear and relevant for clinical stakeholders.
• Qgenda and Management.
• Collaborate with physicians and analytical teams to align data-driven insights with clinical priorities and organizational goals.
• Provide specialized support to physicians by addressing complex data inquiries related to clinical workflows and EHR functionality.
• Coordinate with clinical teams to integrate analytical outputs into physician scheduling, patient care, and system optimization initiatives.
• Assist in configuring and troubleshooting EHR systems to support physician efficiency and clinical documentation accuracy.
• Drive performance improvement by leveraging analytics to enhance physician productivity, aligning with UPH’s mission and values.
• Ensure analytical processes comply with organizational policies, HIPAA, and other regulatory guidelines to maintain data integrity.
• Contribute to a culture of innovation by identifying data-driven solutions to improve physician services and clinical outcomes.
• Maintain detailed documentation of analytical projects to ensure accessibility and compliance for physician support initiatives.


Education: 

  • Associate's degree in Healthcare Informatics, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field, or 4 years of equivalent experience in Physician Support Operations Analysis in lieu of a degree required. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Informatics, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field preferred. 

Experience: 

  • Minimum 2 years experience in analytics or healthcare operations setting or related field required. QGenda experience is preferred. 

License/Certification: 

  • None
