This position is available at three Northern Virginia locations; Dumfries, Manassas, Woodbridge.

The Clinical Practice Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of a healthcare practice to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care and smooth administrative functioning. This position requires a blend of clinical expertise and management skills to lead nursing and clinical support staff, coordinate patient services, and implement policies that enhance practice performance. The Clinical Practice Manager will be responsible for managing budgets, staffing, and compliance with healthcare regulations, while fostering a collaborative environment among multidisciplinary teams. By analyzing workflow and patient care processes, the manager will identify opportunities for improvement and drive initiatives that optimize operational efficiency. Ultimately, this role ensures that the practice delivers exceptional care while maintaining financial and regulatory standards.

The Clinical Practice Manager utilizes clinical knowledge daily to understand patient care needs and guide nursing staff effectively. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for coordinating between clinical teams, administrative personnel, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the United States.

  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience in an outpatient or ambulatory care setting.
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare IT implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and quality assurance processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Certification in Practice Management or Healthcare Management (e.g., AAPC Certified Practice Manager).
  • Demonstrated success in management and operational oversight in a clinical setting.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage change effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control measures to ensure the practice operates within financial targets.
  • Coordinate with physicians, APPs, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate communication and collaborative care.
  • Monitor quality assurance metrics and patient satisfaction data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Handle recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of clinical and support staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare laws and accreditation standards.
  • Serve as a liaison between the practice, patients, insurance providers, and external vendors.
