Job Title: Infectious Disease Physician – Independent Practice Physician (Ownership Model, Not Employed)

MedCBO is a Colorado-based healthcare business infrastructure company that empowers independent physician groups across the United States to launch, manage, and scale their practices. We provide a comprehensive Business‑in‑a‑Box platform that integrates revenue cycle management, accounting and finance, human resources, EHR support, payer contracting, compliance, supply‑chain logistics, and data intelligence.

This posting is for physicians interested in establishing or transitioning into an independently operated medical practice supported by MedCBO’s administrative infrastructure. Physicians own and operate the practice entity while MedCBO provides non‑clinical business and operational support services.

Physicians may establish or transition a practice in a preferred market, subject to state licensure and applicable regulatory requirements. The physician governs clinical operations, clinical decisions, and sets patient‑care policies. MedCBO does not direct patient care.

Physicians retain full clinical authority, decision‑making, and ownership of the medical practice. Final legal structure and regulatory compliance depend on the specific state and are established in coordination with licensed legal counsel.

• Provide care within the physician’s specialty scope.
• Develop professional relationships within the medical community.
• Determine clinical services offered.
• Manage clinical quality and patient experience.
• Participate in payer credentialing as required.

• Practice formation coordination.
• Billing and collections management.
• Payer contract negotiation.
• Financial infrastructure and reporting.
• Operational workflows and staffing systems.
• Technology platform and implementation.
• Revenue cycle management, coding, and payer contracting support.
• EHR, technology platform, telehealth, and clinical workflow systems.
• Credentialing, enrollments, and facility privileging coordination.
• HR administration, staffing workflows, and compliance support.
• Supply‑chain and vendor coordination.

• MD or DO with unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in a specialty appropriate to the clinical services provided.
• Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable.
• Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates.
• No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice.
• Interest in the independent practice model.

• Desire for practice ownership.
• Community‑based care interest.
• Leadership or program development interest.

Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural). Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed, subject to licensure.

Compensation is not a salary and is generated by the physician‑owned practice. Financial outcomes vary based on specialty scope, services offered, payer mix, physician activity, and local market conditions. Results are not guaranteed.

Physicians operate their own medical practice entity and are not employees of MedCBO. MedCBO provides administrative support services only. Practice performance, revenue, and income depend on physician decisions, clinical activity, and market conditions. Practices are commonly established using standard medical practice financing programs; specific qualifications and terms are determined by the lending institution. MedCBO assists physicians in navigating financing options. MedCBO does not employ physicians and does not provide guaranteed income.
