Clinical Nurse Specialist (RN)

Wage Range: $38- $45 per hour

The Clinical Nurse Specialist (RN) provides training, coaching, and support to Resident Assistants, Medication Aides, fellow Nurses, and other community staff to ensure high-quality resident care that meets Jaybird Senior Living standards and regulatory requirements. This role partners with Executive Directors, integrates wellness programs, and occasionally supports daily nursing operations to meet residents' needs with dignity and respect.

What Youโ€™ll Do:

  • Travel between communities with potential overnight stays, acting as the Healthcare Coordinator.
  • Train and supervise healthcare staff on best practices.
  • Deliver classroom, in-service, and hands-on education.
  • Coach staff to ensure consistent, high-quality resident care.
  • Support nursing operations when needed, including Healthcare Coordinator duties.
  • Communicate care information clearly and timely across teams.
  • Collaborate with Executive Directors and interdisciplinary staff.
  • Provide seamless communication to POAs and PCPs.

What Weโ€™re Looking For:

  • Current registered nursing license in good standing; multi-state license may be required.
  • 1+ year of Assisted Living or related nursing experience.
  • Prior caregiverย experience; senior care preferred.
  • Strong professionalism, empathy, and ability to build rapport.
  • Skilled in handling sensitive situations and collaborating in a team setting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records.
