This individual will serve as the business and clinical leader for the GI product portfolio, partnering closely with engineering, architecture, clinical stakeholders, and executive leadership to develop innovative solutions that compete with market-leading products.
The Product Manager will focus on customer discovery, workflow optimization, competitive differentiation, AI-enabled clinical solutions, and market validation while leveraging AI-assisted product development methodologies to accelerate product delivery and customer value realization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
Product Strategy & Vision
  • Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for GI software solutions within the ASC market.
  • Conduct market analysis, competitive assessments, and customer research to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
  • Develop multi-year product strategies supporting growth, market expansion, and competitive differentiation.
  • Establish product success metrics and monitor adoption, utilization, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.

Customer & Market Engagement
  • Build strong relationships with gastroenterologists, GI nurses, ASC administrators, and health system stakeholders.
  • Conduct customer interviews, workflow observations, and user research to identify unmet needs and validate product concepts.
  • Attend GI and ASC industry conferences, user groups, and advisory boards.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer throughout the product development lifecycle.

Product Development
  • Translate customer and market requirements into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on strategic value, customer demand, revenue opportunity, and development effort.
  • Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams using Agile and AI-assisted development methodologies.
  • Lead backlog management, release planning, sprint reviews, and roadmap prioritization.

GI Clinical Workflow Optimization
  • Lead the design and optimization of end-to-end GI and endoscopy workflows within the ASC environment, ensuring solutions improve physician productivity, clinical documentation quality, operational efficiency, revenue capture, regulatory compliance, and patient care.
  • Collaborate with clinical stakeholders to develop capabilities supporting procedure documentation and reporting, clinical image management, quality reporting, coding and charge capture, pathology workflows, interoperability, patient engagement, and workflow automation.

Interoperability & Compliance
  • Define requirements for EHR integrations, interoperability, and data exchange standards.
  • Support compliance with:

    • HIPAA
    • CMS requirements
    • ASC Quality Reporting (ASCQR)
    • MIPS/MACRA quality initiatives
    • GI-specific quality measures

  • Collaborate with implementation and support teams to ensure successful customer adoption.

AI Product Strategy
  • Identify and prioritize AI-enabled capabilities that improve physician efficiency, clinical documentation quality, coding accuracy, workflow automation, and operational performance.
  • Define business cases and success metrics for AI-enabled product capabilities.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to validate and operationalize AI-driven solutions.

Go-to-Market Support
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop product messaging, demonstrations, competitive positioning, and launch plans.
  • Support RFP responses, customer presentations, and strategic sales opportunities.
  • Train internal teams on product capabilities and market differentiators.

EDUCATION DESIRED:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, Clinical Informatics, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • 5+ years of Product Management experience in healthcare technology.
  • Demonstrated experience translating clinical workflows into software requirements and product enhancements.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare documentation, procedure reporting, and clinical workflow optimization.
  • Experience managing software products throughout the full product lifecycle.
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, administrators, and engineering teams.
  • Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Clinical experience required, including one of the following:

    • Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Gastroenterology, Endoscopy, Perioperative Services, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, or Procedural Care.
    • Advanced Practice Provider (NP, PA) with GI, procedural, or surgical experience.
    • Allied health professional with direct experience supporting GI, endoscopy, perioperative, or ASC workflows.
    • Clinical informatics professional with significant hands-on experience implementing and optimizing clinical workflows in healthcare settings.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS DESIRED:
  • Experience in Gastroenterology, Endoscopy, or Ambulatory Surgery Center operations.
  • Experience with GI software platforms including Provation, ModMed G-Gastro, EndoSoft, EndoWorks, Olympus, or similar solutions.
  • Knowledge of GI procedure coding, reimbursement, quality reporting, and registry requirements.
  • Experience with HL7, FHIR, and healthcare interoperability standards.
  • Prior leadership of healthcare SaaS products serving physicians, ASCs, or specialty practices.
  • Experience in healthcare technology, healthcare SaaS, or serving hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, or similar provider environments.
  • Knowledge of perioperative workflows, billing practices, or regulatory considerations relevant to cloud-based healthcare software environments.
  • Experience developing, launching, or managing AI-enabled healthcare software products.
  • Knowledge of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), natural language processing (NLP), clinical documentation automation, ambient clinical intelligence, or healthcare workflow automation solutions.
  • Familiarity with AI governance, model evaluation, prompt engineering, human-in-the-loop workflows, and responsible AI practices in healthcare.
