Job Title: Clinical Research Associate

Responsibilities

  • Participate in site selection and train site personnel regarding the trial.
  • Perform routine site monitoring and follow up to ensure identified deficiencies are corrected.
  • Coordinate the development of protocols, documentation, and standard operating procedures for the administration and monitoring of clinical trials.
  • Follow established guidelines in the collection of clinical data and assist in determining guidelines for new protocols.
  • Coordinate the assessment of the suitability of potential investigative sites through telephone screening interviews and regulatory document review.
  • Conduct site initiation visits to train site personnel on protocol, study procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor visits to assure the integrity of clinical data with respect to accuracy, accountability, and documentation.
  • Provide feedback to sites, summarizing overall site functioning and detected deficiencies, and follow up until deficiencies are resolved.

Essential Skills

  • 7+ years of monitoring experience across multiple therapeutic areas.
  • Remote and on-site monitoring expertise.
  • Proficiency in site activation and IRB processes.
  • Strong site oversight, including regulatory document management and database updates.
  • Excellent communication skills to maintain professional communication with sites.
  • Proficiency in regulatory compliance and document management.

Work Environment

This is a fully remote position with travel up to 90% across the United States. Candidates should reside within 30 minutes of a major airport to minimize travel time and enhance efficiency. The role offers a weekly workload of 40-50 hours, varying by study phase, with opportunities for hybrid work arrangements to support work-life balance. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85.00 - $90.00/hr.
