FULL TIME RN REDLANDS AIC

Job Description

We are a home and clinic infusion company seeking experienced RNs with excellent IV skills to work FULL-TIME in our Redlands ambulatory infusion clinic.

Responsibilities:

  • Start IVs on patients & administer IV medications.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy.
  • Administer IV medications to patients of all ages (pediatric to elderly).
  • Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior to MD/office case managers and pharmacy.
  • Submit daily “end of day reports” to ensure continuity of patient care.
  • Stay current with all paperwork requirements per CMS guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in nursing (minimum of 1 year under current license).
  • Current active CA RN license in good standing.
  • Excellent IV Skills.
  • Familiarity with PICC lines, midlines & implanted ports.
  • Ability to electronically chart.
  • Ability to submit documentation in a timely fashion per CMS guidelines.
  • Communicate with patient, patient family, pharmacists, collaborating physicians & specialists regarding patient care.
  • Timely communications of critical patient information including significant change in patient condition with office staff (office case managers and schedulers for your desired geographic area & pharmacy personnel).
  • Be a self-starter and independent RN with autonomy.
  • Ability to commute to our main Irvine office for initial training.
  • Ability to commute to our main Irvine office for interview, HR onboarding, initial training & annual “nursing skills days”.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with electronic documentation.
  • Experience with infusion therapy
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience drawing labs peripherally and via implanted port, PICC & Midlines.
  • Ability to document home infusion visits utilizing OASIS charting per CMS guidelines.

Hourly rate from 50$ - 58$ per hour commensurate with experience.
