A Climate Resilience Internship is a temporary position designed to provide hands-on experience in developing strategies to help communities, ecosystems, or organizations adapt to the impacts of climate change. Interns may work on research, policy analysis, community outreach, or sustainability initiatives. The role often involves collaboration with scientists, policymakers, and stakeholders to enhance resilience against climate-related risks. It is ideal for students or recent graduates interested in environmental science, planning, or public policy.
What does a climate resilience intern do?
As a Climate Resilience Intern, you will typically assist with data collection, climate vulnerability assessments, and mapping exercises to identify at-risk areas. You may help prepare reports or presentations that communicate findings to stakeholders and collaborate closely with environmental scientists, urban planners, or policy teams.
