About the role
The Client Director plays a pivotal role in driving sales team performance, mentoring Account Managers and Account Associates, and ensuring achievement of revenue and contribution targets for their customer set. This player-coach role combines hands-on selling with leadership responsibilities. Client Directors typically manage multiple podium level customer accounts as well as coaching and mentoring their team members to assist them with managing these key customers, as well as assisting the team in developing their own customers.
What you'll be doing
  • Partner with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Account Managers and Account Associates to exceed individual and team targets
  • Conduct regular 1 to 1s, pipeline reviews and check-ins with team members.
  • Provide onboarding, and ongoing development for new and existing team members.
  • Manage a personal book of business while supporting team efforts.
  • Close complex deal negotiations and high-value opportunities.
  • Monitor and improve sales performance, tools, and best practices.
  • Track team KPIs and provide actionable insights to improve performance.
  • Ensure accurate Salesforce usage and pipeline forecasting.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to align on go-to-market strategies.
  • Provide feedback from the field to help shape product development and messaging.
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations and Sales Enablement to streamline processes and reporting.
  • Embrace and support Computacenter's mission and core values.

What you have
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or technology related degree, or equivalent experience
  • 5 - 7+ years of experience in large customer technology products and services sales
  • Previous experience mentoring or leading a sales team is highly preferred
  • Good knowledge and experience of SAP, MS Office and MS Teams
  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies and techniques
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales enablement tools
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strategic thinking and tactical execution skills
  • Good knowledge of the IT industry and an understanding of IT technologies and products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable communicating with colleagues in different countries where English is not the first spoken language
  • Good self-organization and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple requests simultaneously
  • Can build trust, be assertive when required and shows initiative and enthusiasm
  • Resilience, and able to deal with stressful situations
