Job description

-Building Together-
Fleishman Hillard and Porter Novelli are coming together as one integrated agency under the Fleishman Hillard banner, bringing together two industry-leading teams to create something even stronger.
Our combination provides more of what clients need right now: teams with deeper sector expertise, faster access to solutions, and the precision to handle complex, mission-critical assignments. Together, we are one of the industry's leading communications consultancies, with pronounced strength in health & life sciences, technology, financial services, social impact, and public sector, among others.
The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Manager, Digital Health to help lead digital work on behalf of major healthcare clients. The role is responsible for developing and overseeing the execution of social media and digital initiatives, including the development of content, creative campaigns, medical meeting and conference connection strategies, and influencer activations. The role sits at the intersection of our integrated services and healthcare teams implementing innovative, dynamic social-first communications strategies to solve for clients' business challenges.
The ideal candidate will have a digital-first mentality, deep experience within the healthcare industry, and be in tune with emerging trends across the landscape from pharma to biotech to consumer and HCP communications. Our social and digital work encompasses branded and product communications and unbranded and disease state awareness campaigns as well as corporate and internal communications. Client-facing responsibilities will include ongoing ideation, strategic consultation around major initiatives and key moments, and relationship management.
We are looking for someone who is collaborative and willing to work on teams to do bold new things - someone who wants the challenge of solving client problems within the highly regulated healthcare industry, even as social media paradigms and practices evolve and shift. They will be influential voices within the integrated services and healthcare teams, and be relied on to analyze industry trends, provide perspectives on competitive activities and opportunities, and help drive operational excellence.
What you will be doing:

  • Serve as day-to-day digital lead, responsible for providing strategic solutions around social and digital marketing
  • Develop and implement innovative social brand and social content strategies that are integrated with overall client marketing objectives and goals
  • Deep knowledge of social platforms (Meta/Facebook/Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, Reddit, SERMO, and more) - understand and articulate best practices based on business needs and requirements
  • Be a champion for social and digital work - experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage social media activities and how to creatively sell the opportunity into the client
  • Help deploy an industry-leading technology stack that supports insights development, audience intelligence, and performance measurement
  • Comfortable gathering input from a variety of internal and client stakeholders to inform content creation and maintain social content calendars
The experience that will contribute to your success:
  • Have a minimum of 6-8 years of social and digital experience within healthcare industry (client-side), advertising and/or PR agency
  • Experience working with complex HIPAA and FDA-regulated issues a must
  • Project management and program leadership prowess, comfortable overseeing junior colleagues and managing up with senior leadership
  • Previous experience as a client or executive point of contact; strong relationship building skills - both with internal (executives, peers, junior staff) and external (clients, media, influencers, vendors) stakeholders
  • A track record of creative thinking and effective execution in social media and digital platforms
  • Possess a thorough command of the social media and digital spaces (from shifting consumer platforms to new HCP-platform features to evolving applications of AI), sophisticated client service and digital communications skills, high energy and passion for this area of rapid change and innovation
  • Work well within highly collaborative, integrated teams - displaying proven ability in running a team, controlling timelines and budgets, anticipating issues and working towards solutions to complex problems
  • Understand the paid media environment and how it applies to a holistic social media strategy
  • Experience working on influencer (patient, caregiver, HCP) strategies and activations including planning, contracting, activating, and amplifying end-to-end campaigns
  • Have the proven ability to meet deadlines, juggle multiple projects and work independently in a fast-paced office environment.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $110,000 - $120,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
