Are you an experienced advertising agency leader who builds trusted client relationships and ensures exceptional work gets done?
Misfit is seeking a Director of Client Services to lead significant client relationships across public-sector, healthcare, banking and purpose-driven organizations. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for a strategic, highly relational agency professional who can independently own complex accounts and coordinate integrated campaigns across creative, media, video and project teams.

What You'll Own
  • Serve as the strategic and relationship leader for one to two significant clients.
  • Understand each client's organization, audiences, priorities and business challenges.
  • Lead client relationships, meetings, integrated campaigns and deliverables.
  • Translate conversations into clear strategies, action items, timelines and ownership.
  • Anticipate client needs and proactively move the work forward.
  • Coordinate work across creative, media, video and project-management teams.
  • Ensure commitments are delivered accurately, on time and within scope.
  • Own account growth, scopes of work, budgets and the overall relational and financial health of assigned clients.
  • Manage up when executive input is needed while remaining willing to execute hands-on work.
  • Help shape the future of Client Services at Misfit.

This role will not initially have direct reports. A junior team member may eventually support the Director as the client portfolio and team grow.
Your First Year
Build trust and become a subject-matter expert on your assigned clients. Progress quickly toward independently leading client strategy, communication and campaign delivery. By the end of your first year, you will own significant client relationships with minimal executive oversight while delivering the proactive excellence that defines Misfit.
What You Bring
  • Meaningful experience working in an advertising, marketing, communications or integrated media agency, or extensive experience managing an agency relationship from the client side.
  • A successful record of leading complex, high-value client accounts and integrated campaigns.
  • Strong client strategy, relationship leadership and project oversight skills.
  • The ability to balance strategic thinking with attention to detail and hands-on execution.
  • A proactive mindset with the judgment to anticipate needs, identify gaps and determine next steps.
  • Confidence working across creative, media, video and project-management functions.
  • Strong accountability, follow-through and financial awareness.
  • A servant-leadership approach that combines humility, collaboration and high standards.

Experience in government outreach, public health, healthcare, behavioral health, education or banking is valuable but not required.
