Description
The Client Services Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day client relationships, ensuring excellent customer service, and supporting operational efficiency within a fast-paced logistics and transportation environment. This role serves as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, helping resolve issues, maintain customer satisfaction, and coordinate internally with operations, dispatch, warehouse, and billing teams.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience in logistics/customer service, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with assigned customer accounts
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, issues, and escalations
  • Coordinate with operations, dispatch, warehouse, and billing departments to ensure customer needs are met
  • Monitor shipment activity, service levels, and account performance
  • Provide customers with shipment updates, tracking information, and issue resolution
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
  • Assist with onboarding new customers and implementing account procedures
  • Prepare reports, customer updates, and service reviews as needed
  • Ensure all customer information and activity are accurately documented in company systems
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and work toward timely resolutions
  • Support management with special projects and process improvements
  • Maintain strong communication with both internal teams and external customers

Salary: $150,000 per year
Position Requirements
  • 3+ years of customer service, account management, or logistics experience preferred
  • Experience within transportation, warehousing, 3PL, intermodal, or supply chain environments strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Experience with TMS/WMS systems is a plus
