Job description

Community Insurance Group (CIG) is seeking a dependable, professional, and self-motivated Office Administrator to support our team and provide excellent service to our clients. An insurance license is not required for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct telephone calls professionally
  • Welcome clients and assist with general questions
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and other documents
  • Enter and update client information accurately
  • Manage emails, files, office supplies, and daily administrative tasks
  • Provide administrative support to agents and management
  • Follow up with clients and route insurance-related questions to a licensed agent
  • Protect confidential client and company information
  • Help maintain an organized, efficient, and welcoming office

Qualifications

  • Excellent telephone, communication, and customer-service skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy office
  • Accurate computer, typing, and data-entry skills
