About Us

At SeaView's Recovery Center, we are dedicated to providing top-quality care in a supportive and nurturing environment. We believe that nutrition plays a vital role in recovery, and we are looking for a skilled and compassionate Food Service Worker to join our team.

Job Description

As a Food Service Worker, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, managing inventory, and ensuring that our clients have access to nutritious and appetizing food.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare lunch, dinner, and all snacks for our clients and staff at the SeaView Recovery Center.
  • Manage inventory of food and supplies, ensuring all items are stocked and fresh.
  • Prep breakfast and meals for the weekend, to be reheated and served.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area..
  • Collaborate with the center's team to meet the dietary needs of our clients.

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm.

Compensation

The rate of pay is between $18-20 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in a food service role is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, inventory management, and kitchen safety.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on client service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license, satisfactory driving record, CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Must be at least 18 years old. TB test, pre-employment drug/alcohol screening, criminal background check.
