Job description

Associate, Client Service
Department: Business Development, Non-Core Investment Services
Title: Associate, Client Service
Reports To: Managing Director, Client Experience
Job Summary:
The Associate, Client Service plays a key support and client-facing role within the firm's non-core investment services business line. This position supports Business Development leaders by delivering high-quality client service, coordinating day-to-day account and reporting activities, and preparing polished, client-ready materials that support both ongoing relationships and new business initiatives.
This role requires a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive individual who can manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and professionalism. The Associate, Client Service works closely with internal partners across investment, operations, analytics, marketing, and compliance teams to ensure timely execution of client and business development deliverables.
Responsibilities:
  • Support client onboarding and ongoing service activities, including documentation, data collection, and coordination with internal teams.
  • Work with investment data across fixed income and equity strategies-including analytics, returns, portfolio characteristics, and insurance-related structures-to support the preparation of client and prospect materials.
  • Prepare, customize, and distribute recurring and ad hoc client reports, performance materials, and presentation decks.
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of sales and business development materials, including pitchbooks, proposal content, fact sheets, educational presentations, and client-ready presentations.
  • Maintain and update internal templates, reports, and standard materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with branding and compliance standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (including investment management, operations, analytics, marketing, and compliance) to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of client and sales-related deliverables.
  • Support client meetings, calls, presentations, webinars, and prospect interactions, including preparation and presentation of materials and follow-up items.
  • Track service requests, deadlines, and action items to ensure service standards and business development timelines are met.
  • Maintain internal records, CRM updates, and required documentation in accordance with firm policies.
  • Contribute to process improvements, service efficiencies, and enhancements to internal workflows and resources.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Zero (0) to three (3) years of experience in financial services, client service, or sales support.
  • Interest in investments, portfolio management, or financial institutions.
  • Familiarity with investment products, client reporting, or sales support materials is a plus.
  • Knowledge of credit union or bank investment regulations is helpful but not required.

Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce polished, accurate, and client-ready materials.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfort interacting with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead through influence and collaboration rather than direct authority.
  • Ability to collaborate across functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); familiarity with CRM or reporting tools is a plus.
  • Commitment to delivering a high-quality client experience.
