Job description

Associate Client Advisor

Marsh is seeking an Associate Client Advisor to support complex, high-priority accounts and help drive client satisfaction, retention, and growth. This established, independent individual contributor role has a direct impact on team outcomes and plays a key part in account execution, client service, and business development support. The successful candidate will work closely with account teams and client counterparts to align client needs with Marsh's capabilities and resources. This includes coordinating initiatives, preparing client-facing materials, conducting research and analysis, supporting proposal development, and helping expand the mix of Marsh products and services held by the client. This position requires strong project management skills, sound judgment, clear communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable supporting multiple priorities and shifting needs. This is a hybrid role that requires working in the office for three days per week.

We will count on you to:

  • Serve as the project manager for the account team on large initiatives and complex accounts.
  • Implement action plans, monitor progress, and help ensure service delivery meets or exceeds client expectations.
  • Draft client-facing materials, including white papers, presentations, approaches, and quantitative financial analyses, to support account strategy and sales opportunities.
  • Conduct research on markets, industries, and growth areas to identify trends, opportunities, and resources for expansion.
  • Conduct and refine data analyses to support proposal development and client presentations.
  • Address escalated issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner, help manage expectations, and mitigate relationship risks.
  • Provide technical and transactional support for complex or high-priority relationships as needed to support client satisfaction and internal alignment.
  • Develop strong relationships with professional counterparts at client organizations.
  • Support account teams with strategic initiatives, changing priorities, and other high-value work as needed.
  • Apply a systems-thinking approach to understand how client needs, operational processes, service delivery, and internal resources connect across the broader account environment.
  • What you need to have:

    • Bachelor's degree required.
    • 3+ years of experience in client relationship management, account management, consulting, brokerage, insurance, or a related professional services environment.
    • Strong project management and coordination skills.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct research and refine data into clear, useful insights.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build credibility with clients and internal partners.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate across teams.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
    • Demonstrated ability to build trusted working relationships and support complex account activity.
    • Customer-centric mindset with a strong commitment to service excellence.
    • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to respond quickly to changing scope and priorities.
