POSITION OVERVIEW: As a Project Surveyor at LJA Surveying, you will be responsible for supervision of field operations, technical and drafting staff, deed and map research and project management.

A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE:

  • Responsible for supervision of field operations, technical and drafting staff, deed and map research, and project management.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate survey data into project plans. 
  • Use advanced equipment (e.g., total stations, GPS, 3D scanners) and software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) to collect and analyze data
  • Responsible for boundary survey calculations, analysis, and final map checking, abstracting title data, and client relations.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Professional Licensed Surveyor

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10 years of progressive experience in the industry
  • 2+ years of experience after registration
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external clients
