Job description

Landmark Ventures is seeking a Client Operations Manager to join our dynamic business development services team. This pivotal role is perfect for professionals with experience in sales, revenue operations and client/customer success who are passionate about driving success for innovative Enterprise IT/Cybersecurity companies.
Our business development services team leverages extensive Fortune 500 CXO relationships to create sales opportunities and drive enterprise deal motion for our client portfolio of Enterprise IT / Cybersecurity startups looking to scale rapidly.
The Client Operations team manages day-to-day communications and activities of client engagements including writing researched background to prepare clients for meetings, managing ongoing deal visibility and sales pipeline motion, tracking and analyzing key metrics, and helping optimize strategies to increase deal volume and velocity. This is a client facing sales-operations and engagement management role.
As a Manager on the team, you are ultimately responsible for the activities and initiatives that drive our clients' success. This role requires a high level of sales experience, organization, excellent writing and communication skills, strong emotional intelligence, and the ability to multi-task across several projects simultaneously while maintaining strong client relationships with startup CEOs, Sales Leaders, and F500 Executives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Relationship Management & Enterprise Pipeline Management
    • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, managing pipeline, providing regular updates on performance and project status.
    • Project Management: Track progress of the pipeline and KPIs, set milestones, and ensure that client expectations are consistently exceeded.
    • Reporting, Analytics, and CRM Updates: Maintain clear and proactive communication regarding engagement activity, performance, priorities, risks, and next steps.
    • Client Retention & Growth: Translate client goals and feedback into clear actions for Landmark's internal teams.
  • Lead Generation & Opportunity Development
    • Partner with clients and internal Business Development teams to identify target accounts, executives, and potential enterprise sales opportunities.
    • Conduct research to identify relevant companies, decision-makers, business priorities, and potential use cases aligned with each client's ideal customer profile.
    • Manage strategic outreach campaigns across executive engagement, events, referrals, roundtables, and targeted account initiatives to drive qualified pipeline.
    • Help develop and refine target-account lists, prospecting strategies, outreach messaging, and client positioning.
    • Identify potential leads and opportunities within Landmark's executive network and broader client ecosystem.
    • Track lead-generation activity and evaluate which channels, messages, and target profiles are producing the strongest results.
    • Ensure new leads are properly qualified, documented, assigned, and progressed through the appropriate follow-up process.

Key Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, sales/revenue operations and client/customer success ideally at a B2B technology startup selling to enterprise organizations.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Sales, the IT/Cybersecurity enterprise landscape, and startups.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Able to approach complex problems with high emotional intelligence, while building strong relationships with a diverse group of executive client stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
  • Proficient in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other project management software.

Our company is headquartered in New York City and we offer a virtual/remote work arrangement for all employees. While our core hours often align with the East Coast, we are flexible and accommodating to candidates from all time zones. Candidates must be authorized for employment in the United States.
If you're a highly motivated, organized, and client-focused professional with a passion for sales and startups, we would love to hear from you.
About Our Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to Landmark.
  • We are a remote company headquartered in NYC with a global team and a flexible working environment.
  • Generous vacation and holidays, including all Federal holidays including the day after Thanksgiving. Additionally, team members get two days each year to volunteer, and receive an additional day of Paid Time Off for each anniversary up to five years.
  • Comprehensive health insurance: team members pay $1 each month for full medical, dental, vision, and life insurance with a broad network through ADP.
  • Steller team of co-workers, an engaged virtual culture, active Slack channels, and a lot of in-person and virtual team gatherings.
  • Meaningful work at an organization that focuses on your growth. Landmark offers professional development sessions, career conversations, external resources, and plenty of stretch opportunities to hone your skills.
  • Learn from experts who have been in the organization for 10+ years and from always-innovative clients in an entrepreneurial environment.
