Your Future Team

Simmons Investment Advisors operates as a private financial advisory practice within Hightower Advisors, a financial services company. Established in 1987, Simmons Investment Advisors provides investment and financial planning services to affluent individuals, families, corporations, and non-profits. As a small team, they service over $500 million in client assets as of May 2026.

This role assists in providing white-glove service to our clients, as well as running day-to-day operations within the practice. Successful candidates will be analytical thinkers and self-starters comfortable with extensive client contact, resolving most questions and problems independently. Candidates must be eager to work in a team environment and be willing to “wear all hats.”

 

What You’ll Do

  • Developing strong relationships with clients
  • Delivering service both internally and externally, partnering and working closely with Financial Advisors and teammates
  • Serving as the primary contact for client service needs, promptly addressing and solving inquiries through phone, email, and in-person interactions
  • Onboarding new clients and supporting existing clients, including account openings, all aspects of money/asset movements (journals, EFT’s, check requests, wires, ACAT/DTC transfers, RMD's, etc.) and account maintenance (address updates, beneficiary changes, online account access, account re-titles, etc.)
  • Maintaining client records and files, ensuring that all data is current and accurate following regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Collaborating with custodian partners (Fidelity, NFS, and Schwab, outside custodians, etc.) to ensure accurate processing of client transactions. Downloading and uploading forms, monitoring and verifying changes in the system, resolving issues, and staying current with changing procedures
  • Becoming comfortable and proficient in using our different applications (MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word), Salesforce, Black Diamond, DocuSign, and custodial platforms) to obtain account information and complete/coordinate all aspects of client service and account maintenance requests
  • Fielding client requests and completing tasks, following through to make sure client's needs are met while following compliance standards and requirements
  • Managing client data within CRM (Salesforce) and monitoring to ensure accuracy

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
  • You are ethical, and able to handle sensitive financial information with the utmost confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, Salesforce, DocuSign
  • Preferred: 1+ years of industry experience
  • Preferred: Series 7, 66 licenses
