The Operations Coordinator, Program Operations supports the implementation of ICF's utility-sponsored energy efficiency programs, with a focus on commercial building systems and energy-efficient technologies. This entry-level role plays a crucial part in ensuring the efficient and effective management of energy and environmental programs by identifying opportunities for process improvements, sharing best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

This position offers opportunities to build technical and consulting skills, gain exposure to major initiatives, and contribute to impactful energy solutions. By leveraging ICF's deep understanding of client needs and emerging technologies, the Operations Coordinator helps deliver high-quality services that support energy efficiency goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as part of the energy efficiency team ensuring that the evaluation, implementation, and verification of utility-sponsored energy efficiency projects are successfully executed.
  • Develop and share best practices across the team and organization.
  • Collaborate with IT, Reporting, Marketing, and Customer Care teams.
  • Conduct analyses to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist with processing incoming project applications.
  • Review project application forms and submittals to ensure compliance with program policies and procedures.
  • Assign project applications for further processing and review per program policies and procedures.
  • Assist with customer and contractor inquiries.
  • Coordinate quality control follow-up on project inspections and customer surveys as appropriate.
