About The Role
Altabank, Division of Glacier Bank, is looking for a Full-time Treasury Management Sales Specialist for our North Logan branches.
Role:
The Treasury Management Sales Specialist (SS) along with the TMO, will be responsible for driving Treasury Management business, commercial deposit growth, revenue generation, and client acquisition for the bank. The SS supports one or more Treasury Sales Officers with all organization, paperwork, process flow, and problem resolution activities allowing the Treasury Sales Officers more time to hold face to face sales meetings with prospects and Clients. This position is responsible to assist with the implementation and ongoing maintenance of Treasury Management services and TM Clients.
The Sales Specialists develop a cooperative working relationship between Treasury Sales Officers, the implementation team and other Bank operations departments necessary for the delivery of Treasury products to prospects and clients. Develop processes and procedures that simplify, clarify, and speed up the process between the time of client acceptance of Treasury Management products and the product implementation. Follows up with clients when new setups are implemented and remain a constant source for any ongoing client questions or needs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Builds strong relationships with treasury and other depository clients.
  • Builds strong relationships and partnerships with the TMO.
  • Participate with TMO in the client planning process and provides specific client/prospect relationship data that may aid in the calling/business generation process.
  • Understands and influences internal process improvements required to streamline the client experience.
  • Prepare Account Analysis Comparisons as requested by Treasury Sales Officers, based on data from competitor statements.
  • Prepare sales presentations and proposals.
  • Prepare formal treasury reviews to be presented to top tier TM clients.
  • Is comfortable having product sales conversations with existing and potential clients including product pricing and rate discussions.
  • Assist clients and Treasury Sales Officers as needed with problem resolution (Mostly with larger TM Clients).
  • Assist with periodic assessments and evaluations for renewal, annual compliance, etc. Escalate problems to Treasury Sales Officer as needed.
  • Adhere to Altabank Core Values.
  • Keeps management appropriately informed of area activities and of any significant problems.
  • Participate in Community Service and Bank sponsored activities that serve and support the mission and values of the Altabank.
  • Provide superior internal and external customer service.
  • Represent Altabank in a professional manner.

About You
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3-5 years previous work experience in Treasury Management, business banking, sales, relationship management, customer acquisition, or a related customer-facing financial services role; entry-level experience developing a sales pipeline, prospecting new customers, expanding client relationships, and supporting deposit or revenue growth; or equivalent transferrable experience.
  • Two to five years of similar or related experience.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) in Finance, Accounting, Business, or similar field of education.
  • A college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of Treasury Management products/services and operations, including deposit products, cash management solutions, commercial card, merchant services, payment services, and related business banking solutions.
  • Basic knowledge of banking products, services, policies, procedures, regulations, referral processes, and relationship-based sales practices.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY:
Developing ability to effectively prospect for new business, manage a sales pipeline, conduct needs-based sales conversations, ask for business, and work toward deposit growth, revenue, and relationship expansion goals.
  • Effective interpersonal and relationship management skills with the ability to build trust, influence decisions, and interface professionally with clients, prospects, referral partners, other employees, and senior management.
  • Knowledge of sales fundamentals, including prospecting, discovery, consultative selling, referral development, objection handling, follow-up discipline, and closing skills.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written) in order to communicate and relate effectively with customers and associates.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently & accurately.
  • Demonstrated ability in exercising independent judgment.
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and remain calm while working in a fast paced/deadline driven environment.
  • Employee must be capable of interacting calmly and professionally with a variety of people from diverse backgrounds at various levels within and outside of the organization.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Starting salary is dependent upon relevant experience and may vary based on the geographic location of the position. We offer an extensive benefits package that includes, but is not limited to medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. Most Full-Time employees are also offered 6 paid holidays and Part Time employees are offered pro-rated paid holidays.
