We are a growing, full-service firm providing accounting, tax, and advisory services to individual and business clients. We have close relationships with financial advisors and family attorneys which enable us to provide a full array of services to our clients under one roof.


The Job

The Senior Accounting Manager provides firmwide leadership for client accounting delivery, team development, and process optimization, while ensuring exceptional client experience and compliance. Thisrole is intended for a proven accounting leader with a strong track record of managing teams, driving efficiency, and elevating service quality in a growing CAS practice.


What do we need you to do?

  • Oversee and assist with monthly client accounting file closures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Directly manage the internal accounting and bookkeeping team, including workload assignment, prioritization, staffing schedules, and deliverable timelines.
  • Handle Performance Evaluations of the accounting team members. Monitor and measure performance metrics of accounting staff for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Review and approve client financial statements prior to delivery, maintaining firm standards and quality control.
  • Lead the onboarding and implementation of new CAS clients, including complex integrations, cleanups, conversions, and advisory consultations.
  • Implement software changes or improved workflows as necessary.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication, problemsolving, and professional client interactions that build trust and longterm partnerships.
  • Lead staff training, professional development, workflow improvement meetings, and ongoing education for accounting personnel.
  • Document processes and responsibilities for standard operating procedures.
  • Have familiarity with the current suite of software products including QuickBooks Desktop, Xero, QuickBooks Online software, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Outlook.


Qualifications for this position:

  • Software - Certified QBO ProAdvisor + real-world experience working in QuickBooks Online is preferred.
  • Adept at troubleshooting and optimizing its use for client accounts.
  • At least 5 years of accounting and bookkeeping work experience with small businesses (under $20 million in annual revenue) in the United States.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 year of leadership experience.
  • Must have a minimum of 2 year of project management experience in which you were responsible for prioritizing client expectations and assigning work to supporting staff.
