Elevate the client experience at a growing insurance agency! The Mahoney Group, founded in 1915, is a premier insurance agency of approximately 250 employees headquartered in Chandler, Arizona. We're searching for a relationship-driven Client Manager. In this role, you'll manage the overall workflow, account servicing, and maintenance of the assigned book(s) of business. This role expands client relationships by analyzing, communicating, and eliminating coverage gaps, ensuring that a client's risk is being managed in an optimal manner.
What You'll Do
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with clients and prospective clients.
  • Serves as the main point of contact for clients addressing general questions, providing guidance, and resolving accounting discrepancies.
  • Partners with Insurance Advisors to procure, service, and maintain client accounts.
  • Collaborates with Insurance Advisors to identify and recommend coverage to clients and prospects, coordinating the proposal process for new, renewal, and modified insurance coverages.
  • Reviews and/or processes new and renewal policies, endorsements, audits, audit assignments, cancellations, and similar documents for accuracy.
  • Educates clients on current and proposed coverages and exclusions.
  • Answers claim questions and provides support, where needed, throughout the claims process.
  • Fosters strong relationships between the clients and support team.
  • Advises and guides the service team in their support of client needs.
  • Attends and participates in internal meetings and completes required training.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned or required.

What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5 or more years of Commercial Lines experience. Human Services experience preferred, but not required.
  • State Property & Casualty Insurance License.
  • CISR, CIC or other insurance professional designation.
  • 1 or more years of Applied EPIC experience.
  • Demonstrates a thorough understanding of Commercial Lines insurance law, guidelines, and practices.
  • Maintains current knowledge of insurance coverages and exposures and the insurance products and markets available to cover the exposures.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as insurance policy forms and insurance contracts.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work, collaborate, and communicate with individuals at varying levels across the organization.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Strong computer operating skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, and Applied (EPIC) CMS.
