Trusts And Estates Tax Manager

Our client in North Central Phoenix is looking for an experienced Trusts And Estates Tax Manager. This is a hybrid role (3 in office/2 wfh) with a base salary of $100,000 - $150,000 depending on experience. Responsibilities include:

  • Review and prepare federal and state fiduciary income tax returns (Form 1041), estate tax returns (Form 706), and related filings
  • Lead multiple tax engagements to deliver quality tax preparation, research, planning, and consulting services for a variety of clients
  • Ensure compliance with legal and tax requirements for trust and estate entities
  • Communicate technical issues, recommendations, and opportunities to clients and prospects, including in-person meetings
  • Provide guidance and training to junior staff, and collaborate within integrated team to meet client and firm deadlines
  • Stay current with changes in fiduciary, tax, and estate law, and participate in ongoing professional development
  • Proactive approach to process improvement and regulatory changes

Background required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of specialized experience in trust and estate tax
  • CPA strongly preferred
  • Self-motivated
