Job description

IMA Boston is an employee benefits broker located in Newton, MA. The Senior Benefit Analyst is an experienced-level role with a career path in benefit consulting or other areas within the organization. This role partners closely with the Employee Benefits Consulting Team to support the full client lifecycle, including onboarding, renewals, communications, and ongoing client service.
What You'll Do
Communications & Open Enrollment

  • Lead development and execution of open enrollment and year-round benefits communications
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of all benefit materials in partnership with marketing
  • Coordinate and support open enrollment meetings, including carrier engagement and logistics
Client Implementation & Data Management
  • Oversee onboarding of new clients and implementation of benefit plans and programs
  • Maintain accurate client records and systems, including benchmarking and internal platforms
  • Support client education through implementation meetings and materials
Client Service & Consulting Support
  • Partner with consulting team to develop client deliverables (renewals, claims reviews, mid-year updates)
  • Review and validate carrier materials to ensure accuracy prior to client distribution
  • Serve as a point of contact for client inquiries, including claims and billing issues
Analysis, Processing & Compliance
  • Prepare and analyze marketing results; identify discrepancies and plan design changes
  • Support compliance efforts, including review of Summary Plan Descriptions and Schedule A's for 5500 filing
What You Need to Succeed

Salary Range
$51,000-$76,700 USD
