Job Title: Project Manager – Data Center ConstructionJob DescriptionThis role leads the planning and delivery of a data center construction project at the Reno Switch facility, ensuring that all work meets scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations. The Project Manager coordinates construction activities, manages stakeholders, and drives successful completion of a complex commercial construction project in a mission-critical environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management for the Reno Switch data center construction project, from initial planning through project closeout.
- Develop, maintain, and track detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones to ensure on-time delivery.
- Coordinate and oversee all construction activities, aligning contractors, vendors, and internal teams to meet project objectives.
- Manage project scope, budget, and resources, identifying risks early and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate regular project meetings, providing clear updates on progress, issues, and action items to stakeholders.
- Ensure that all construction work adheres to agreed specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes and regulations.
- Collaborate closely with commercial construction partners to resolve issues quickly and maintain smooth project execution.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including status reports, change requests, and project records.
- Drive continuous communication among technical, construction, and business stakeholders to maintain alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Essential Skills- Proven project management experience leading construction projects from initiation through completion.
- Strong background in construction management with hands-on involvement in active construction sites.
- Experience managing commercial construction projects with multiple stakeholders and vendors.
- Specific experience as a Project Manager on a Reno Switch data center or similar data center construction project.
- Ability to manage project scope, schedule, and budget in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- background in data center construction or other mission-critical facilities projects.
- Familiarity with commercial construction best practices, processes, and documentation.
- Ability to interpret construction plans, specifications, and related technical documents.
Work EnvironmentThe role focuses on a large-scale commercial construction project in a data center environment at the Reno Switch facility. The Project Manager works closely with construction teams, contractors, and technical stakeholders, spending time both in office settings for planning and documentation and on-site to oversee construction progress and resolve issues in real time. The environment is fast-paced and schedule-driven, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and coordination across multiple trades and vendors.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52.00 - $52.00/hr.
