Job Summary

The Director of Sales Implementation is a critical leader responsible for ensuring that new sales contracts for large organizations are successfully translated into on-time, on-budget, and high-quality client deployments. This role serves as the bridge between Sales and Delivery, owing to the execution of complex client implementations from contract handoff through go-live. The Director creates project plans, standard work and detailed processes, leads cross-functional teams, manages timelines and risks, aligns internal resources, and ensures client expectations are met or exceeded.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Translate sales proposals, contracts, and statements of work into executable delivery plans.

  • Own end-to-end delivery of client implementations from contract handoff through go-live.

  • Oversee multiple concurrent implementations, ensuring milestones, budgets, and quality standards are met.

  • Partner with Sales during late-stage deal cycles to support solution design, implementation feasibility, and delivery planning.

  • Lead and develop implementation managers, project leads, and support staff.

  • Drive collaboration across Sales, Service, Production, IT, Art, Finance, and Customer Service teams.

  • Serve as a primary escalation point for complex implementations.

  • Develop and refine standard implementation playbooks, templates, and best practices.

  • Ensure implementations remain within approved scope, timelines, and budget parameters.

Qualifications

  • Proven success leading complex, cross-functional implementations in a B2B environment.

  • Experience partnering directly with Sales teams on solution design and deal execution.

  • Proficiency with CRM systems, project management tools, and reporting dashboards.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).

  • Professional fluency in English (required); bilingual proficiency in Spanish (preferred).

  • Strong project and program management capabilities.

  • Exceptional communication and executive presence with clients and internal leadership.
