Essential Functions:
The Supplier Engagement Manager will be responsible for negotiating contracts, developing supplier relationships, analyzing data and business trends, and overall market strategy and product development that best enables ALG Vacations to gain competitive advantage and grow market share.
Responsibilities include:
• Analyze destination performance, understand market demands, destination, and industry trends, and create strategies to adapt to a dynamic marketplace.
• Negotiate supplier contracts, net rates, and promotions.
• Create an integrated supplier strategy and work with Strategic Business Units to attain the goals.
• Ensure ALG Vacations has access to the most competitive product and pricing.
• Ensure destination strategies align and support ALG Vacation's strategic pillars.
• Analyze products to ensure competitive product mix.
• Ensure all products offered meet ALG Vacation's standards (content, service, quality, competitive).
• Understand and maximize dynamic distribution channels.
• Align and communicate to leader, team and ALGV brands on strategy, opportunities, and maximizing revenue in the market.
