Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales Execution:

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities to achieve or exceed quarterly annual revenue targets.
  • Create actionable plans to meet business and revenue growth targets.
  • Continuously review and refine plans based on performance and market changes, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
  • Regularly work with the Marketing team to identify market trends and competitive landscape to refine sales approach and identify new revenue channels.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients by identifying, researching, and prioritizing prospective leads.
  • Partner with Sales teams to refine current offerings, create competitive pricing strategies, and ensure the company remains ahead of industry shifts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product, and finance, to develop solutions that meet client needs.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to support sales objectives, optimize processes, and enhance the customer experience.

Market Research & Prospecting:

  • Conduct research to identify prospective accounts in target markets and develop strategies for engagement.
  • Pursue leads actively, nurturing relationships and advancing prospects through the sales cycle.
  • Engage with prospective clients through calls, meetings, and presentations to understand their needs and communicate our value propositions effectively.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasts using CRM and other reporting tools.
  • Prepare and present sales reports to management, sharing insights on revenue projections, target achievement, and areas for improvement.

Quote & Proposal Development:

  • Develop tailored quotes and proposals that address prospective clients' requirements, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Work closely with internal teams to create compelling proposals, pricing strategies, and custom solutions.

Market Expansion & Networking:

  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand presence and explore potential business leads.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, communicating the value and impact of our products and services effectively to prospective clients.
  • Actively represent the company at events, maintaining professionalism and promoting our products and services.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or a related field. With 8+ years of industry expertise in leu of a degree.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in sales, or a related field, with demonstrated sales success in related areas.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's degree
  • Experience: 5+ years of successful sales experience

  • Experience in getting past sales barriers and getting to decision makers in larger companies.
  • Proven experience attending and leveraging industry events for lead generation and brand awareness.

Working Conditions:

This position is a regional contributing employee, meaning employees will work remotely but will need to travel regularly and attend team meetings in the Stow, Ohio office. Schedules are based on the role and the team's needs.

Standard office equipment will be provided to work at home. A dedicated space at home to work is also required. Uninterrupted home-based internet is a must in your home to attend and host video calls, along with a minimum bandwidth speed of 20 mbps.

This role will require travel to industry events, customer sites, and company locations as needed.
