Job description

Sales Representative & Field Trainer

Athletic Mindset | B2B Direct Sales | Supplemental Insurance | Local Territory

Built for People Who Lead Through Growth and Mentorship

At Allegiant Business Group, we know strong teams thrive when people support each other, act with integrity, and stay consistent in their efforts. Many of our leaders come from athletic or structured backgrounds, bringing discipline, accountability, and a focus on growing together.

We partner with small and mid-sized businesses to provide reliable supplemental insurance solutions that protect employees and their families. As our organization grows, we're looking for experienced professionals who want to make a bigger impact by developing others while continuing to build their own book of business.

The Opportunity

This full-time B2B direct sales role blends outside sales production with leadership development. As a Sales Representative & Field Trainer, you'll meet face-to-face with business owners and employees within your territory while also mentoring newer agents as they learn our systems and approach.

Representatives operate as independent contractors, allowing flexibility in how you manage your schedule and territory while still receiving structured support, training resources, and leadership guidance.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy leading by example, building relationships, and helping others grow alongside them.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with small and mid-sized business clients

  • Conduct in-person benefit presentations and enrollment-style meetings

  • Recommend supplemental insurance solutions based on client needs

  • Mentor and support newer agents through field training and coaching

  • Lead by example through consistent personal production

  • Maintain accurate activity and client records using Salesforce CRM

  • Prospect through referrals, networking, and scheduled appointments

  • Collaborate with leadership to set weekly goals and support team development

  • Provide ongoing client service, follow-up, and re-servicing

Training & Leadership Development

We invest heavily in both personal and team growth:

  • Structured onboarding and hands-on field training

  • Ongoing product, compliance, and leadership development education

  • Health & Life licensing support

  • Continued mentorship and coaching from senior leadership

  • Clear advancement pathways into higher leadership roles

Compensation & Structure
  • Commission-based income with performance bonuses

  • Weekly base draw available as you continue building your business

  • Uncapped earning potential tied to consistency and service

  • Incentive trips, recognition programs, and advancement opportunities

  • Flexible schedule with autonomy over your territory

Ideal Candidate

You may be a strong fit if you:

  • Have prior experience in outside sales, leadership, or mentorship roles

  • Enjoy helping others develop while continuing to grow personally

  • Thrive in face-to-face, relationship-focused environments

  • Are organized, self-motivated, and reliable

  • Value collaboration, integrity, and long-term growth

  • Communicate clearly and build trust easily

  • Have reliable transportation and can travel locally

  • Willing to obtain a Health & Life license

Why Allegiant Business Group

Our culture is built on collaboration, support, and a commitment to growth. Many of our leaders started in the field and progressed through dedication, strong relationships, and teamwork. We value professionalism, mentorship, and fostering long-term partnerships with both clients and team members.
