The NewPath Child & Family Solutions Development Coordinator plays a critical role contributing to the fundraising work of a vibrant, innovative nonprofit, positioned for growth, visibility and reach in the years ahead. The Development Coordinator is responsible for providing critical database and research support to all elements of the agency's fundraising and volunteer efforts, and preparations for client activities and events.

What you'll be doing:
  • Provide excellent customer service to NewPath clients, family members, external clients, and staff.
  • Develop data management tools in the database or excel for tracking due dates, client census, etc., as required by program managers.
  • Act as a liaison for NewPath and external clients, including funders, guardians, and transportation companies.
  • Provide administrative support to Agency Departments/Programs.
  • Answer incoming calls ensuring coverage at all times.
  • Greet all visitors, providing them with information and assistance, as needed.
  • Supervise the general reception area, including the lobby.
  • Maintain office equipment and order supplies when necessary.
  • Maintain the conference room and common area meeting schedules.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum qualifications include high school diploma/equivalent; bachelor's degree or college coursework in a human services-related field preferred.
  • 2 - 4 years' experience with a nonprofit organization, or 1 - 2 years' experience in development or related field strongly preferred.
  • Comfort working with financial information.
  • Excellent and proven communication skills, in person, in writing, and on the phone.
  • Ability to meet shifting deadlines with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Comfort working independently and taking initiative to solve problems creatively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and familiarity with database management.
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
