Holiday Market of Canton – Immediate Deli Clerk Manager Needed!

We’re looking for a dedicated Deli Clerk Manager to join our team at Holiday Market of Canton! In this role, you’ll oversee evening deli operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, product quality, and smooth closing procedures. You’ll lead by example in assisting customers, preparing deli items, and maintaining a clean, efficient, and well-stocked department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support deli clerks during evening shifts, ensuring high service standards and smooth operations.

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and timely manner.

• Prepare, slice, and package deli meats, cheeses, and other products according to customer orders.

• Monitor product freshness, restock supplies, and maintain proper inventory levels.

• Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed consistently.

• Oversee cleaning and closing procedures, ensuring the deli area is organized and ready for the next day.

• Train and coach team members to uphold store policies and service standards.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a deli or food service environment required; prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced setting.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
