PositionSummary
Thisposition reports directly to the Senior Coordinator, Recreation - ClericalManagement. This position provides front desk coverage and customerservice at various recreation facilities. General dutiesrange from checking guests in, to selling memberships, programs,services, and tickets, as well as general customer service.Knowledge of all passes, programs, and services is essential to the function ofthis role.
EssentialDuties and Responsibilities

-Providesexceptional customer service to all guests in a fast-paced environment.
-Greetsguest, accepts and processes facility passes and registrations forspecific activities.
-Enforcesrules and policies with staff and guests.
-Handlesand processes payments and responsible for assigned funds and receipts.
-Preparesthe revenue and paid-out record forms daily.
-Maintainswork area, facilities, supplies and equipment.
-Operates a variety of office equipment and electronic software.
-Completesa variety of paperwork including daily records, logs, and incident reports.
-Assist with any first aid, CPR, and othermedical attention as needed.
-Maintainscommunications with other staff within recreation and reports issues orconcerns (i.e. RecTrac or activity issues) to supervisory staff as needed.
-Attendsand participates in staff meetings and trainings.
-Keepsinformed of all seasonal and on-going programs.
-Performsother related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience: Minimum age is 18.High School Diplomaor GED preferred. One-year related experience preferred. Must successfullypass all required employment screens.
LanguageSkills: Ability to read instructions andcommunicate with City supervisor and the general public. Ability toeffectively present information and respond to questions from supervisor,groups of clients, customers, and the general public. Bilingual capabilitiesin Spanish and English desirable but not mandatory.
ReasoningAbility: Ability to solve andimplement practical solutions to problems. Ability to interpret a variety ofinstructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Foresee and initiate proactive measures to ensure program quality, customer service andfacility integrity.

PhysicalDemands: The physical demandsdescribed here are representative of those that must be met by an employee tosuccessfully perform the essential functions of this job. Regular work willinclude the following:
