Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our innovative team at Clearly Heard Counseling Services, LLC. In this full-time role, working remotely, you will play a crucial part in providing individualized and effective mental health care to a diverse population. Your expertise will contribute to fostering positive behavioral changes and overall well-being for our clients.

About the Organization

Clearly Heard Counseling Services, LLC is a pioneering organization in the mental health field, committed to improving access to quality mental health care. We aim not only to break down the stigmas associated with mental health but also to close gaps in service provision and to reshape mental health culture. Our approach is centered on collaborative care, engaging both clients and community providers to craft personalized treatment plans that truly address individual needs.

Work Environment

This position offers a remote work setting, providing you with the flexibility to serve clients from the comfort of your own home while ensuring a healthy work-life balance. Although you'll primarily work remotely, you will also be connected to an outpatient office dynamic, collaborating frequently with a close-knit team of dedicated professionals who share your passion for making a difference in the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain open communication with clients, their families, and support systems, ensuring timely responses to calls and emailsโ€”within two hours during business hours, and within 24 hours otherwise.
  • Engage with the Utilization Review and Business Departments to manage authorizations and payments, ensuring seamless collaboration with referral sources for continuity of care.
  • Initiate discharge planning from the first day of admission, conducting thorough discharge sessions that cover coping strategies and transition plans, and confirming follow-up appointments prior to patient discharge.
  • Lead effective crisis management during therapy sessions, providing support to milieu staff and reinforcing the highest standards of clinical practice across the treatment team.
  • Complete clinical documentation comprehensively and timely throughout each patientโ€™s treatment, ensuring all records are updated immediately following services.
  • Establish strong therapeutic rapport with patients and their families, conducting risk assessments for suicidality and potential harm to self or others.
  • Facilitate the admissions process for new patients by conducting assessments with professionalism and care, while also participating in clinical outreach initiatives.
  • Contribute actively to weekly treatment team meetings, sharing case updates and collaborating with colleagues on collective treatment goals.
  • Provide essential utilization reviews to insurance companies, ensuring that clinical details are clearly communicated to secure both initial and ongoing authorizations.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be engaging primarily with a diverse patient population, including individuals facing various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Our organization values inclusivity, striving to reflect the diversity of the communities we serve in our staff and our treatment approaches, ensuring that every client feels seen and supported in their unique journey.

Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Possession of an independent license in the state of Oregon (LCSW, LMFT, LPC).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a sizable caseload while interfacing effectively with various healthcare providers and support teams.
  • Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical records systems to document patient care and manage clinical workflows efficiently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear and effective email correspondence.
Preferred Experience
  • A proven track record of impacting lives positively through mental health care, showcasing a deep passion for the field.
  • Experience in working with electronic medical record systems in a telehealth environment.
  • Previous engagement in multidisciplinary treatment teams and collaboration with community providers.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 โ€“ 100,000 annually, reflecting the experience and qualifications you bring to the role. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • Professional liability insurance to protect against unforeseen liabilities.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for your own mental health support.
  • Reduced administrative burden with minimal paperwork.
  • A full caseload to provide a rewarding and fulfilling work experience.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance for your comprehensive health needs.
  • Life and disability insurance options for peace of mind and financial security.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Clearly Heard Counseling Services, we value professional development and are committed to the growth of our team members. As part of our organization, you will have opportunities for continuous learning through workshops, training, and collaboration with experienced colleagues. We actively encourage participation in ongoing education and skill enhancement to aid in your professional journey.
