Job description

Developmental Trainer – Rolling Meadows (CDS)

Clearbrook's Day Programs (CDS) provide participants with opportunities to continue to learn based upon their interests and abilities. An emphasis is placed on socialization and community participation. At our Rolling Meadows day program, a particular emphasis is placed on providing our clients with the vocational skills necessary for a working environment.

Clearbrook is committed to being a leader in creating innovative opportunities, services, and support for people with disabilities. 


Location:            Rolling Meadows, IL

Hours:                  Full Time

Schedule(s):      Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm

Pay:       $21.35/hour + Paid Training!


Responsibilities:

  • Providing general supervision for clients participating in the program workshops.
  • Implementation and record keeping of client objectives and progress.
  • Providing clients with training necessary to perform daily living tasks.
  • Ensuring client participation in the community.
  • Providing hands on assistance to clients with daily living activities (such as feeding, toileting, etc.)

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Must be 21 years of age
