Job description

General Description
Assists Flash CLE team in marketing continuing legal education programs for in-house use by law firms, corporate legal departments, and local bars through passive and pro-active telephone contact. Processes orders for the Flash CLE Department, TexasBarCLE payables, and Flash CLE invoices.
Primary Functions
  1. Works with the Flash CLE team to market and sell Flash CLE packages to clients across the state to meet their educational needs primarily through telephone contacts and print correspondence. Expands and maintains current client database through responding to inquiries, preparing quotes, and following up on sales generated by general advertising and targeted sales efforts.
  2. Responds to routine inquiries about Flash CLE, TexasBarCLE, & bulk sales. Works with Local Bar Associations all over the State of Texas to inform them of all the services TexasBarCLE and Flash CLE have to offer.
  3. Takes and processes orders generated by marketing information and Flash CLE and TexasBarCLE clients. Coordinates with MCLE and video production departments.
  4. Responsible for keeping the inventory of flash drives for orders and supplies for use onsite at courses.
  5. Assists with filling customer orders and video inventory.
  6. Updates order forms.
  7. Processes Flash CLE deposits and refunds.
  8. Reviews and codes payables for the TexasBarCLE department, including invoices, speaker reimbursements, staff reimbursements, and staff travel advances, and forwards them to accounting department for payment.
  9. Maintains electronic files of all payables, employee reimbursements, and speaker reimbursements for direct access by staff.
  10. Attends State Bar events to educate members about TexasBarCLE products.
  11. Performs other responsibilities as required.

Position Requirements
High school education and two years of related experience required. Some accounting experience preferred. Must be high energy, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and positive, and able to develop and maintain customer relationships. Must be organized, detail oriented, and have the ability to assume responsibility, prioritize and perform a number of ongoing tasks under deadlines. Experience with Word and Excel. desirable. Must be able to type at least 50 words per minute. Must present a positive professional image to prospective customers. Must be able to lift at least 35 lbs. Occasional travel and overtime required.
