Job description

Tree of Knowledge Learning Academy, a fast-growing, client and therapist-focused company is seeking a strong Speech Therapist to join our team!

Key responsibilities of a school speech pathologist include:

Direct Therapy Provision:

Providing individual or small group therapy sessions to address identified speech and language goals using appropriate therapeutic techniques and materials.

Classroom Consultation:

Consulting with teachers to provide strategies and support for incorporating communication skills into the classroom curriculum and addressing student needs within the learning environment.

  • Progress Monitoring and Evaluation:

    Regularly assessing student progress toward their IEP goals and making adjustments as needed. 

    Parent Communication:

    Communicating with parents about their child's speech and language development, providing information on therapy strategies, and involving them in the treatment process.

    Required skills and qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

    • A current state license to practice speech pathology

    • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)

    • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
