Clarity Wellness PA is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our team. In this full-time role, you will be instrumental in assessing, diagnosing, planning, and implementing comprehensive medical care for patients. Working collaboratively with our supervising physician, you will operate within the full scope of your licensure, ensuring that all medical care is coordinated safely and effectively. Your responsibilities will include delivering direct patient care, providing patient education, and managing transitions of care while performing delegated therapeutic procedures.

This position is performed onsite at our surgical center, fostering close collaboration with surgeons, nurses, and administrative staff. • Conduct thorough physical examinations and take patient medical histories to ensure all health factors are assessed comprehensively.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory tests and imaging such as X-rays, to confirm diagnoses and develop treatment plans.
• Diagnose and treat a variety of health issues within the realm of family medicine and general healthcare.
• Collaborate with patients to create personalized treatment plans focused on both chronic and acute health conditions.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and monitor their effects on patient health, adjusting treatments as necessary for optimal outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous patient records and manage appointment scheduling, ensuring that information is up to date and easily accessible.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, preventive measures, and overall wellness strategies.
• Oversee patients' overall health, ensuring they receive holistic care that addresses physical, emotional, and psychosocial aspects.
• Implement health promotion and prevention activities tailored to the specific needs of our diverse patient population.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay informed of the latest advancements in healthcare and best practices in patient care.

• A Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Active state licensure as a Physician Assistant in New York.
• Demonstrated experience working as a Physician Assistant, preferably within a family medicine or similar healthcare setting.

• Specialization in family medicine or experience in primary care, with extensive clinical exposure to outpatient care models.
• Knowledge of health care regulations and best practices, ensuring compliance in all care delivery.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• A strong commitment to ethical, patient-centered care and the ability to approach challenging situations with patience and a problem-solving mindset.
• Team-oriented, with a positive attitude that contributes to a collaborative work environment.
• A DEA number and willingness to prescribe medications as part of treatment plans.

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $140,000 to $160,000, commensurate with experience.
