Stellar Public Adjusting Services Team Lead

Non-Exempt, Full-time position

Position Summary

The Team Lead provides support to the Claims Department staff under the direction and supervision of the Director of Claims. The primary focus of the Team Lead is to ensure that performance and productivity levels are maintained and that goals set by the Director of Claims are met in a satisfactory manner. The Team Lead will lead the claims handling functions, and will motivate and guide a claims team. A Team Lead is expected to have excellent communication and leadership skills.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Supports the Director of Claims in executing goals and processes
  • Encourages and motivates the team to meet goals and processes
  • Reviews and revises documents prior to final review and approval by the Director of Claims or Public Adjuster
  • Assists his/her team with clients? complaints before escalating to Director of Claims
  • Assists with training under the direction of the Director of Claims
  • Serves as primary contact for the team members for any questions or issues on claims before escalating to the Director of Claims
  • Responsible for managing a moderate number of claims based upon the needs of the Claims Department
