POSITION SUMMARY

ARCHER Systems is seeking an experienced and highly organized Project Manager. This role reports directly to the Mass Tort Operations Program Director and is responsible for owning end-to-end project delivery across ARCHER’s growing portfolio of pre-settlement technology initiatives.

The Project Manager will serve as the connective tissue between ARCHER’s technology teams, mass tort operations, law firm clients, and third-party integration partners. This individual will drive new projects through delivery, ensuring on-time execution, clear stakeholder communication, and disciplined RACI accountability across cross-functional teams. This is a highly visible role with direct interaction with executive leadership.

Position Location: Remote

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Planning & Delivery

  • Own project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverable tracking across all assigned projects from initiation to go-live
  • Lead internal project kickoffs, requirements gathering sessions, and stakeholder alignment meetings, ensuring all parties understand scope, dependencies, and success criteria
  • Proactively identify blockers, risks, and critical path items; escalate to the Mass Tort Operations Program Director with recommended solutions
  • Maintain rigorous status update cadences (daily standups, weekly written updates, etc.)
  • Ensure handoffs between technology development (Zeal IT consultants and internal ARCHER dev team), operations, and client-facing teams are clearly defined and executed

Stakeholder & Client Management

  • Serve as the primary project point of contact for internal stakeholders
  • Maintain RACI matrices for all active projects; ensure all parties — including both ARCHER technology teams and operations (Mass Torts Operations, Client Services) understand their roles and remain within defined lanes
  • Prepare and deliver clear, executive-ready project status reports
  • Identify when leadership escalation is needed and facilitate prompt resolution of decisions that require executive input

Technology Project Coordination

  • Coordinate delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams including API integrations (inbound/outbound), data migration, document processing, and client portal development
  • Partner with the VP of Technology Special Projects and development team to translate business and operational requirements into actionable user stories and sprint deliverables
  • Track and manage project backlogs in coordination with technology (development leads; ensure stories are properly scoped, prioritized, and resourced)

Process & Governance

  • Implement and maintain project governance frameworks including charter documentation, scope management, change control logs, and formal close-out procedures
  • Ensure alignment between new pre-settlement projects and the broader post-settlement ecosystem to avoid duplication and maintain data integrity
  • Drive adoption of standard project management practices across the team including meeting documentation, action item tracking, and decision logging
  • Support the sales pipeline by providing project scoping estimates, integration timelines, and delivery capacity assessments for prospective AIM clients
  • Manage vendor and contractor relationships (e.g., Zeal IT consulting team) to ensure accountability and delivery against contracted scope

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Required:

  • 5+ years of project management experience, with demonstrated success delivering complex technology projects involving API integrations, data migration, or SaaS platform development
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams including software developers, operations staff, and external client/partner stakeholders simultaneously
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain project plans, RACI models, stakeholder communication plans, and executive-level status reporting
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to translate technical details into clear business language for senior leadership audiences
  • Experience managing third-party vendor and consulting team relationships
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, or equivalent) and Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel)
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, multiple priorities, and fast-moving timelines in a high-growth environment

Preferred:

  • Experience in legal technology, mass tort, personal injury, or claims administration industries
  • Familiarity with API integration concepts (REST APIs, MuleSoft, ETL pipelines) and cloud platforms (Azure)
  • Experience supporting client onboarding and integration projects with law firm or insurance clients
  • Background working in organizations that operate both proprietary technology platforms and managed services delivery
  • Exposure to Power BI or other data visualization/reporting tools from a project oversight perspective

BENEFITS

  • 401(K) retirement plans with matching contributions.
  • Comprehensive health insurance coverage.
  • Dental and vision insurance plans.
  • Parental leave to support work-life balance.
  • Short-term and long-term disability coverage.
