Job description

The Bankruptcy Claims/Data Specialist is responsible for making sure that the initial phase of setting the case up as to potential creditors is completed. Individual must make sure that the data entered is accurate and complete and entered in a timely fashion. The entry has direct impact on preparing the case for confirmation and the disbursement of adequate protection payments. It is an integral part of the process that is built on by all of the other persons working in both interim and confirmed case administration.

- Input creditorsโ€™ information from Schedules D, E, and F as new cases are filed.

- Set up Adequate Protections Claims from the Proof of Claims and Adequate Protection Orders that are filed daily to disburse adequate protection payments.

- Set up all Priority and Secured Claims as they are filed.

- Update Claims for Amended Plans filed in the Interim period

- Update information for Final Reports

- Prepares Orders from Misc. Hearings

- Mortgage Payment Changes

- Inputs employer information in system based on Wage Orders filed with court

- Input Tax Return information for all Interim Cases

- Research and respond to all written, fax and email Creditor Inquiries

- Debtor Phone Inquiries

- ECF filing

- Scan Review

- Upload POSPAY files

- Download paid items report

- Perform other clerical duties as assigned by the Trustee and supervisor

- Assist the Trustee in special projects as needed
